8-Acre Blue Lagoon

The Conrad has it’s own pool for guests to use. Guests can also enjoy the 20-acre tropical beach around the 8-acre lagoon.

Enjoy watersports on the lagoon or swimming in the zero-entry pool. Guests at Conrad and Evermore also have exclusive access to sand carving beach.

There are daybeds and cabanas available to rent along the beach for an additional charge. There are also pool chairs that are complimentary around the seating area.

Everyone can find activities that interest them around this unique 8-acre blue lagoon. I have never seen anything like it.

Conrad Spa

The luxurious Conrad Spa and water garden, inspired by natural springs, is a must for your Conrad Orlando stay. Plan to enjoy the vitality pool, cold plunge pool, and soaking tub at the spa to top off a relaxing day. They offer rejuvenating therapies, facial treatments, salon services, and nail services. Dining

We enjoyed the Conrad Orlando in mid-February just after opening, so not all of the restaurant options were open yet. We found the dining to be overpriced for the quality of food and were disappointed in the dining. Now that all of the unique dining experiences are open and have had a chance to work out the kinks, the food may be better.

Ceiba

Rooftop Dining with a fireworks view featuring Mexican cuisine. Ceiba is open from Wednesday through Sunday 5pm – 10pm.

Papaya Club

Beachfront dining experience with lagoon views featuring Polynesian-inspired cuisine. The Restaurant is open 11:30am – 9pm and the Bar is open 11:30am – 10pm.

Sophia’s Trattoria

An Italian restaurant serving breakfast from 7am – 11am, Lunch 12pm – 2:30pm, and Dinner 5pm – 10pm. Sophia’s was open while we were there so we got to experience this restaurant. The service was top notch, but the food was just okay.

Little Spoon

A market and cafe for grab and go options. Little Spoon is open 6:30am – 8pm.

Apero

A Mediterranean style restaurant with live entertainment. Apero is open every day from 2:30pm – 12:00am. Live entertainment is available Fridays 6pm – 9pm and Saturdays/Sundays from 5pm – 9pm.

Evermore Orlando Resort Dining

Guests staying at the Conrad can also head over to the Evermore Resort and enjoy dining over here as well. There are 4 restaurants, 5 casual dining options, and 3 bars & lounges. We did not get a change to head over to Evermore to enjoy their dining experience.

Transportation to Disney

There is a Disney shuttle that drops you off at the Ticket and Transportation Center if you plan to head to the Disney Theme Parks. The shuttle runs once an hour from 7am to 11pm. The shuttle is similar to other near property resorts like the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando

The transportation is not as convenient as the transportation at a Walt Disney World Resort. We often end up ubering instead to not have to wait on the shuttle, though the shuttle is complimentary. We ended up renting a car and driving to the parks during our stay.

We like to get up early and rope drop the parks with a few breaks during the day. The only parking option is valet, so we had to valet the car each time we wanted to go to the parks. Something to consider if you plan to go back and forth from the parks.

Review

We enjoyed staying at the Conrad Resort and would definitely stay here again. The guest rooms and on-site resort amenities made this an elegant destination. In the future, we would spend less time at the Disney Parks and participate in the many activities at the resort instead.

We did not receive a room upgrade for our stay. We suggest booking the room that you would like to stay in as room upgrades won’t be given out here.

The food at this time was not worth the price, but I suspect that has improved since our early stay. We hope to stay again soon and give the dining another chance.

Pros: Guest Rooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious. Even our Conrad pool view that did not have lagoon views  was breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with Sunny the Bunny. The iconic 8-acre Lagoon was unlike anything I have ever seen. Kayaking on the lagoon is a unique experience you won’t want to miss!

Cons: The food was mediocre, transportation to the Disney Parks is not a frequent as Disney property, Valet is the only parking option, and the resort can get pretty pricey.
